Mastersoft Chess that grows with your game
Mastersoft Chess has been developed as a computer-chess opponent and training tool rather than a simple board. Graded levels let new players start gently, while coaching, hints and rating features help make regular games more useful.
The Apple and Android editions now have distinct feature sets. On iPhone, iPad and Mac, the current Mastersoft Chess release offers up to 150 levels with the optional Chess Ginkgo engine. Ginkgo is identified in the App Store listing as the 2026 ICGA World Champion chess software. The Android edition retains the classic Mastersoft engine with 100 graded levels and long-established training features.
